Oliver Wendell Holmes, a supreme court justice once said, “A mind stretched by a new idea can never regain its original dimension.” If someone told me that a person’s attitude and thinking around prejudice and discrimination could be changed just by reading a four line poem I don’t think I would believe it. And yet that is exactly what The Sun poem has been doing for the last 25 years. (World Unity Landmark) World Unity, Inc. Reaches A Milestone! Our greatest challenge since the founding of the organization in 1993, was to find a waterfront property in the seaport district of Boston to build a landmark promoting equality, diversity, and unity. We have secured an exciting site that is the gateway to the seaport district. We will soon be entering a new phase of the project.
