Dear Friends:

Nine years ago a dedicated board of directors embarked upon an extraordinary mission to build a landmark promoting equality, diversity and unity.  Many of the board members are still with us today. Our mission has required an inordinate supply of perseverance, patience and faith.  Quoting Johnson,   "great works are performed not by strength but by perseverance" .

I am very grateful for the dedication of our Board of Directors, Trustee and Advisors.  On behalf of the board, we thank our supporters and contributors for having faith in us.  Your generosity and goodwill has been invaluable in helping us fulfill our mission.  The greatest
challenge for us has been to secure a waterfront  site to build a symbol of unity. We anticipate this year will mark a milestone.  We hope to officially announce the site and will need your continued support.

We hope you will share our vision with family and friends.  We look forward to the completion of our landmark.  It will be an historic day filled with gratitude and great joy.
